Our Commission Structure
"Everything about KW is an Open Book.... No Gimmicks, No "Back-Door" Deals"
In most traditional real estate companies, the commission structures mean that the more you earn, the more you give away.... At Keller Williams Realty, we believe that the harder you work, the more you should be rewarded. Keller Williams Realty has an agent commission cap, which means that after you hit the cap, everything else you earn is yours, AKA 100% Commissions!
The Keller Williams agent is on a 70 / 24 / 6 % split (until capped)
70% goes to the Agent (until capped)
24% goes to the Market Center (capped at $14,000)
6% goes to KWRI (capped at $3,000)
The Market Center cap is determined by associate vote (the agents are treated as stakeholders), based on operating expenses and economic conditions for that specific KW market center. The cap for our Market Center in Jasper, AL is $14,000/year. The cap for the international is $3,000/year. So essentially agents are on a 70/30 split until they have paid a total of $17,000. After that, the agent receives 100% commissions until their anniversary date at which time the caps start over.
IN SIMPLE TERMS, AROUND $1.9 MILLION IN CLOSED VOLUME = 100% COMMISSION
